We need everyone's help at this year's MCCA Food Booth at the Marin County Fair at the Civic Center in San Rafael on Wednesday, July 1 to Sunday, July 5th.
Positions available for cashiers, food servers, shift managers. Work a few hours with friends and enjoy the Fair!

Lion Dance Team to Perform at showing of Kung Fu Panda
As part of their Summer Nights series of family concerts and films, Youth in Arts and the Osher Marin Jewish Community Center will be presenting the MCCA Lion Dance Team before a showing of the 2008 animated blockbuster comedy set in ancient China, Kung Fu Panda. The event will be held Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 7:40 p.m. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center at 200 N. San Pedro Road in San Rafael.
Tickets are $4 for adults, $3 for kids ages 7 - 18, and FREE for children 6 and under. Family packs for 2 adults and up to three children are available for $10. Call (415) 444-8000 for tickets or for more information.

Marin County Fair July 1 thru July 5 MCCA Makes it Presence Known
MCCA will be serving up delicious Chinese delicacies again at this year’s Marin County Fair. We’ll also sponsor a Lion Dance Performance on the main stage and a crafts booth for kids on July 4th. Volunteers are Needed! Come Join the Fun - Sign Up Now!
Many hands make light work: This 5-day effort is a lot of fun, and it makes quite a bit of money for our non-profit, but it takes a lot of manpower. We need every MCCA member to do what he/she can to make this activity a success. Can you contribute your time? Prep and sell food. Teach paper-folding crafts. Set Up. Clean Up.

Setup/volunteer orientation: in the food booth at the fairgrounds
Food preparation: 11:00am–9:00pm, at May Lee’s (492-9637)
Food sales shifts: July 1 through July 5; daily shifts from 10:30am - 4:30pm and 4:00pm - 10:00pm, in the food booth.
Crafts booth: July 4, 9:00am–4:00pm
All participants in the food and crafts booths receive free all-day admittance to the Fair. Teens can also receive community service credits. Call Kim today!
